Mary Kay Latourneau Story: A Karaoke Musical

Mary Kay! The teacher who slept with her student! 12 years old no less. Well, it was bound to happen, making a show out of this silly lady.
Last year we improv'd (or improved as it were) a completely hilarious show about Mary Kay Latourneau.
Filled with characters including, Steve, Mary Kay's husband, John Schmitz, her father and Michelle, her best friend. I played the senile grandmother of Steve Latourneau, Nana Nadine. A character very close to my heart even if she was crazy. Also under my wing was Peter the cop. A very nice cop just havin the time of his life. Men are always fun to play, so I had a great time with him as well.
Mary Kay was such a fun show. No show could be better as my premiere in Chicago. The "Big City". And tomorrow is the last day of the Mary Kay show! Sad. Yes. But we did get a couple of awesome reviews!!!
Here are a couple!

TimeOut Chicago

"Leslie Nesbit breathes new life into the senile grandmother stereotype, unblinkingly dropping punch lines on everything from dead cats to sexual acrobatics." -Brian Golden

Centerstage Chicago

"
coping with her befuddled grandmother Nana Nadine (one of several roles skillfully played by Leslie Nesbit)" - Colin Douglas

Well, There it is! One of my favorite shows I have ever done. I couldn't have asked for more of a great time. Seriously. Cause, well I can't ask for stuff like that. mwa hahahaa. :0)
